Outgoing U.S. mail is picked up Monday through Friday at approximately 5 p.m. from the letterbox outside the mailroom on the first floor, Room 106 (across from the loading dock doors.) The mail crew can be reached at 5-3808 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You can send email to firstname.lastname@example.org with any mail related questions or issues. The Building Operations Office is copied on all email sent to this address, as is the main office at Harvard University Mail Services (HUMS). HUMS offers metering, courier, and bulk mailing services. Please note that according to strict USPS regulations, outgoing mail or packages that weigh 16 ounces or more may not be dropped in the letterbox, nor left for pickup in the bin below the USPS letterbox. They must be personally hand-delivered to a member of the mail crew ("a known mailer" in official USPS lingo), or they will be rejected by the Post Office, and sent back to WJH.
